Garden Daydreams
As a college student moving about once a year for 6 years and without land to call my own, a life without a garden has been a struggle. I have managed to grow potted peppers and a few house plants, but every move has resulted in only a few of my heartiest most stress tolerant friends.
A Vegetable Garden
We want a vegetable garden to help with the cost of food. The quality of food grown in a garden would also be much better (at least in the summer!). Excess food could be canned and stored for use during the winter months. Plants for salsa and tomato sauce are a priority. Corn, drying beans, squash, zucchini, kale, watermelon, cucumber, rhubarb, and greens are all on my list of things to grow.
Herb Garden
An herb garden would help provide flavor for all of our cooking endeavors as well as provide the most beautiful smells and sights around our house.
